My grandparents had wall paper in every room of the house, except the kitchen. Our first house had one large picture on one wall made with wall paper, it was a deer in the forest, in the bedroom, sort of liked it. I've never seen wall paper on a ceiling, however have seen a mirror. Hey, it was the '70s.
Worst part of wall paper was renting a steamer to take off the old stuff. It seems women have this notion that that sort of thing should always be done in the middle of the summer. A "How to loose 9 pounds in 2 hours". Murph: I had a double root canal yesterday, done by a VA dentist who studied under Mengala. You might want to re-think your opinion on wall paper; then again... Stay healthy, Andy |

On the houses I re-do, I dont take the paper off unless it is already falling off, then a simple procedure, other than that I just spray the new texture whether splater/splater drag/crows foot, or skip trowel, and oh yea the ever famous orange peel, then paint it.
You would be surprised at the results. enough....... NO WALL PAPER IN OUR HOMES ( CEPTING THIS DARN COMP )
