...A fine time was had by all attending, and after my soon to be upcomming root canal, I will try to post up photos that I snapped, unlike the snapped that Hal took to an innocent farm animal when that lead passed extremly close, let's just say reeeeaal close, so I guess that just might make Hal a co-contributor to pre/after the fact, hmmm,...

I got home on Monday night as the sun was going down. I spent Sunday night in Chattanooga, but got up late on Monday morning so didn't have time to do any local sight seeing. I did stop at a lot of antique and junk stores on the way home as well as the Stones River Civil War battlefield, where I found a book with my great-grandfather's name on two rosters...

Thanks to Sid for inviting all of us up on the Mountain for a great time once again. We had whole pig, venison, chicken, beef brisket, and it was all top notch.

I guess Packo was the big winner in poker. At one point though, James had most of the chips on the table, it seemed.....I lost a little, but had a great time playing..

I met Tina, her Dad, and Stick for the first time, as well as Tom's ( Frisco Kid ) wife, Kath ( Raggedy Ann ), and Doc Hal's son, who had some really interesting hunting stories !!. I also met two fellows from Sid's PTSD group, a friend of Dan's ( Pighmper ) from West Virginia named Paul, some new folks from the local area including Donna, her brother and nephew, and Steve. Rickey P. and his wife brought a friend who had worked for the IRS over 35 years and it turned out we had a mutual friend who retired from the Memphis Service Center where I retired from in 2004. I called her while I was there and found out a group of them meet each month.

It was good to visit and catch up on the past two years ( I missed the April 2007 get together ) with Sid, John ( DMZLT ), Ray ( Sid's brother ), Sid's wife, Mustache Mike, Smitty, Woody, Lee, Jason, Curtis ( Seatjerker ), PigHumper, Packo, FriscoKid, Griz ( by phone call ), Doc Hal, James ( exlrrp ), Psyco Fred, and Ricky P. and wife.

( I apologize if I left someone out... )

Sid had some great new T-shirts with an interesting design on them.

The weather was great on Friday and Saturday, and the rain didn't start until Sunday morning...

Sid has a real nice deck on the back of his cabin now, and John has built a nice deck also, where you can watch the sunset. Mustache Mike has built a sauna down the hill from his cabin.

Looking forward to going back in November !

James did have more chips on the table at the end...but I had more cash in my pocket from selling chips... It was a great time. Jason doesn't count....but I'm gonna win the weight liftin' next year, which means I'll probably lose at poker.

I received this disgusting picture and I was threatened with physical and mental harm if I didn't post this obtrosity....I don't know who took it or who the two dorks were that were holding the half plucked rooster that Hal shot.......I'm being as honest as I can be for the moment....
