Who's the Visitor? (Mortar Dude) ???

On Monday Morning at approximately 7:30 AM My walkie talkie went off like it always does when i'm busy. So I answered , and the Secretary said I had a
Visitor in the Lobby. I'm figuring, Damn! It's the fire marshal, nope probably
OSHA, surprise inspection after the long week-end. This is just marvelous! Or
could Danny be paying Me a visit? Probably not. When I turned the corner I
looked this Guy in the face, and not sure but asked? Larry! He said Yes it's Me. I really didn't know what he looked like but I kind of figured it could be him because we had talked about getting together earlier. It was a great visit. Had coffee (1SG remember) so that was first. We talked for a good spell
actually sat on my "ass'" and didn't feel a bit guilty a good hour or so. I was really thrilled to have met "Mortar Dude" We will be seeing each quite regular now. it is still a small world. thanks to the Patriot Files and Computer tech.
It is great! That's My story for today. If You are suppose to be working then get back to work! Only kidding!!! : O )

My experiences in meeting people from this site have been unbelieveably wonderful. That's saying something considering the people we have on here. Guess my standards have really dropped in the past 30 years.

From Walla Walla to Bingen. 150 miles of Vineyards in Columbia Gorge.
From Bingen back to Ellensburg. Satus Pass and its winding roads but now you are somewhat happy so the designated driver has to drive.

450 miles of wine cellars and tasting. You don't need to go to France!

We're not sure when a left coast trip is coming up. I'm trying hard to build back my leave time from those operations a couple of years ago. Still 60 in the hole on sick leave, so whenever I've got Doc appts, or am feelin' bad, I gotta use regular vacation time. Trying to build a bunch up so when we come out west we can see a bunch like, San Fran, Washington, etc. When this happens....I can assure you we will be in touch cause' we want to meet Griz, Chris, and of course, Father Keith.
