( This is a howler...The Congress has created an Income Tax Code that takes millions of lawyers and accountants to deal with. They are the only entity that can change it, and they aren't going to. )

Assure that Social Security and Medicare are adequately funded to meet the needs of the next generation of retirees.

( You sure don't have much damned time to do this. What magical sleight-of-hand are you going to do ??? The "Trust Fund" is full of IOUs...)

That tells me absoulutely nothing, and leaves all kind of wiggle room. Folks, we don't have a choice...haven't had for many, many
years.
