Looking for World War 2 history info

I am a growing military history buff and I am looking for intresting articles or websites pertaining to world war 2 history anything from weapons and vehicles to battle information and intresting stories. I particularly like info regarding Normady and the D Day invasion. If you have any intresting information that you would like to share please respond to this post or email.

Try the library for your reports. A whole history section is devoted to WWII. A starter, "The Longest Day", and "Band of Brothers", should do you well.

Thanks I do already have the band of brothers although I have not read it yet. I was also looking for anything to do with military vehicles(tanks) and weaponry for that time period. stats and so forth thanks for the reply.

It's too bad you don't have access to my private library -- I have several dozen books on the subjects you're looking for. An informative one on armored vehicles, full of pictures, diagrams, & statistics is GERMAN TANKS & FIGHTING VEHICLES OF WORLD WAR II by Chris Ellis and Peter Chamberlain (1976). For general WW II information on America's involvement, you would be well served to read Charles B. MacDonald's books such as THE MIGHTY ENDEAVOR and A TIME FOR TRUMPETS (about the Battle of the Bulge). There have been literally thousands of books published about World War II and you might be wise to narrow your scope of focus. There seems to be lots in information on the Internet -- just keep surfing around and I'm confident you'll find what you're looking for. Good luck!
