Now Is The Time

?Now is the time for all good men (and women) to come to the aid of their country!? And in case you haven?t noticed, ?Saddam the Slimy? is getting his jollies off by sitting in front of the tube and observing the division that he and his cohorts have created amidst the peace-loving world!

Is this the same Hussein that gleefully gassed Kurdish men, women and children, whom you now seek to protect? And is this the same Hussein who has diverted vast sums of oil revenue money to promote terrorism, conquest and bloodshed, that you seek to defend?

Is this the same Hussein that has promised to send your kids home in body-bags that you now champion? ?And why do you still believe him - because this liar now claims to be the injured party?? When, I ask you, have you ever known a rabid dog not to bite, or a cowardly snake not to strike out from beneath its festering rock!

Divide and Conquer ?MUST NOT? become the order of the day here in America! ?Freedom from fear and terrorism is not a partisan issue!? And even though we have the inalienable right and responsibility to protest that which we consider to be wrong, we must refrain from any action that gives aid and comfort to our mutual enemies! What ever course we steer, it ?Must Never? be into a sea of divided loyalties!

Democrat, Republican, Independent, or what have you, after the political title has been removed, we are (and will always remain) Americans! Just look into the faces of your kids and then attempt to deny that what we do today, will greatly affect their freedoms tomorrow! ?For if we do not all pull together against those who would do us ill, we will most assuredly pull apart in short order!? [Such is the agenda of terror!!]

After all is said and done, this is ?OUR NATION!? It does not belong to NATO, the United Nations, the Middle East, a European Commonwealth, or any other International Entity that may not always agree with our sovereign rights! For in the end, should we waiver in our cause, or adopt the ways of others, tis we [and none other], who will pay the terrible price! And those who attempt to dictate our path, will be the first to abandon the course when the going gets rough! [Many have already, have they not!]

I had thought that the rhetorical style of Hitler had evaporated almost six decades ago, but alas, the world has witnessed a renaissance of foolishness and gullibility! Hussein, Iraq, North Korea, and all like thinkers, are not the injured parties here. They were not the victims of sneak attack or betrayal, but rather akin to the asp itself and the common enemy of mankind (opinion)!

If the world is unable or unwilling to face our common enemies, then let us (if needs must) stand alone! As Winston Churchill once said: ?This must (again) be our finest hour!!?

Still, and in fairness to all well-meaning leaders NOWADAYS,..."They" simply don't have the luxury of a unified and patriotic (above all else) people, like: "Old Winnie" had.

Plus, NOWADAYS wordwide there are multitudes of: "Chamberlains" (1/2 naive and well-meaning and 1/2 deceptively not and enemy favoring),...whereas Churchill only had to contend WITH ONE Chamberlain, and FDR only a few.

So then, and given the sad realities, I figure that unless the enemy gets overly-stupid and America remains A Lucky Nation (our historic norm),...EVERYONE is in deep-s--t. Wish I could be more reassuring Friends. But, being inately honest and never a politico (sugar-coaters of even sugar), I'm forced to calls-em-as-I-sees-em.
