Talking Jump School

Was real good, especially just prior to jumping from an airplane.

Talking I did the Army OJT.

I never went to any military school. I did it all OJT. I'm sure glad I didn't go airborne!

Used to take the 6x's for "test drives" after we fixed 'em up - how I learned to drive stick. Nothing like a little OJT, especially when we we stopped by the mess hall and swapped some copper-coil for whatever we could get. Gee! Wonder what Cookie wanted with that?

tim...the night time driving almost did some of us in...with no real lights and going thru the woods, the second truck couldn't always see the one in front...
one night we had to jump out of our jeep
because we had hit a tree and we couldn't budge it and the truck behind us didn't see us or hear our yelling!!!
that was scary...

stay warm, dan t

Thumbs up

Went to some sort of survival course where they gave us a live chicken in the morning that we had to carry around all day. At supper time they told us that the chicken was supper. It wasn't a pretty sight.
