Info and Help need!

I just got notification that the Coast Guard will not issue me a endorsement on a Merchant Mariners Document due to the fact that I need Hearing aids. This is due to damage caused while in the USMC does this qualify me for assistanct and how do I go about this?

Marine AO Go to the VA clinic or hospital and put in a claim for tinnitus - I did and so did PHOand we both got rated at 10% disability. DAV or other service orgs can probably help also. Good luck - bring patience.

Thanks DMZ-LT I did this in 1991 and was denied, though at the time I was told that in the future if it became a issue to reaply. I belive that time is now. Should I start with the DAV? or the VA? or both?

When you start, have the piece of paper in your hand from the Coast Guard. Then proceed with the instructions given.
