We seem to have a similar evil twin Col., mine is a Chief Boatswains Mate with hash marks from wrist to elbow, star tats on the earlobes and at tat on the neck that says, ?cut on dotted line?, that plus a deco stack runs from nips to belly button, oh yikes. I mean we?re talking real evil, big time. :ek:

My evil twin says that Jefferson will jump slick, no problemo. Executive and Legislative will lock horns, Executive will become the bad guy and Jefferson will become a T-shirt icon, like the perp criminal, Che.
There is no way a Dem is going down, especially a racial minority Dem. The only humor thus far is that Pelosi got her usual over played ?R? card right up her butt. Ouch, that had to hurt. Too funny, but my evil twin consistently applies the rule of ?fuk around, lay around and ya get what ya pay?. Hey, the Duke lost his way and was taken down, fair enough, but I highly doubt any such fate awaits Jefferson. So sayith the evil twin, amen and amen again.

More rumblings from my Evil Twin: as I recall, it was a "Wire" that brought down Cunningham, a fitting end to a corrupt career. Now, the very same technology was used to implicate Jefferson, but he's stonewalling big-time. If the evidence had been gathered in any way other than the DC office raid, he probably would have pled out a sentence, just like Cunningham did. But now, we are faced with a long, drawn-out dance and drama presentation by the House and the Justice Department, an expense that will take literally $ millions to produce, and we the unwilling audience will get to pay the entire costs. Had he been a man with any integrity or decency at all, Jefferson would have copped a plea, taken his punishment, and spared us all this expense, but no, his pride, his color, and his Party are standing in the way of justice.

And as a sidebar, Pelosi is showing just how inept she really is, by failing to get her perp to step down in the face of overwhelming evidence. God helps us if she ever became Speaker, as her history of weakness would cripple us all.
