Meeting Tiny again after 32 years
Last time I saw Tiny we were putting him on a Medivac , 32 years ago. Last night Pho and I went and saw Tiny at a hotel as he was traveling through Atlanta and had called me . We have all changed but his voice was the same . He remembers days different than I do , but he is the same guy that covered my 6 many a day and I his. There is a bond of respect and joy in each others life that even 32 years can not erase. After one bad day I saw Tiny walking around and he had about 4 inches of bone sticking out his forearm. I yelled at him that he was hurt and he just looked down at his arm and pulled the bone out - it wasn't his bone. He just called me that he is headed home to TX and to thank me for being a good LT. I needed to hear those words. Thanks for going with me Sid. Welcome home to all !!

It was great
Going with LT to meet Tiny, Listened to them relate some of their times together. Tiny said he has often wondered whose piece bone was sticking out of his arm. Here is a picture I took of Tiny and LT.
