How does your state rate? I was surprised that Illinois was in the top tier.

When I see some of our most "left-leaning" states in the top tier, and some of our most "right-leaning" states in the last, I can't help but being a bit suspicious of the folks that compiled this stuff.
To me, it just points up the fact that polls, surveys and such can be skewed toward what you want them to say ... The Old Sarge

I agree,
Sarge. I sometimes post things for discussion purposes. Just passin' stuff along, if ya catch my drift.
That's me - just layin' back in the weeds, merely a casual observer of the passing scene. :re: Jeff |

Jeff,
That's a good nickname for you. Ye olde snake in the weeds!

My state, Nevada, looks to be piss-poor in this rating. It?s sort of a surprise in some ways but not in others. Being a rural northern County, the big dogs in Las Vegas are the ones that wag the State's tail and the rest of us are just along for the ride. So anything is possible I suppose.

Yep, It makes you wonder who put out the poll and the criteria used.
Old Sarge,
I have some serious suspicions about the poll also. Idaho being in a lower tier. They don't like any body knowing anything about anything. Keith |

Uh......
I don't like polls, either, but you guys are confusing me........ :cd:
Maybe it's simply because this is one of my dense days, but after further review: I don't see anywhere where this was listed as a poll, and I never construed it as such. It looks to me like the list was generated as a result of a review of the items listed in "The Criteria" in each state's laws regarding personal privacy. Jeff |

Jeff, please don't think I was directing my comments to you. lol I like dicussion ... even a good round of fistycuffs now and again. lol
I think "polls" got drug in here when I made the comment about "polls, surveys and such can be skewed toward what you want them to say". BTW, did anyone go to the sidebar on that site and read what there criteria were? The Old Sarge
