Happens sometimes when we add new software especially antivirus.
Sometimes it just happens for the computer's entertainment Seriously, it's not personal.

Go to MSN and Download
Go to Microsoft Downloads and Down Load the new Explorer package, that should solve the problem.

Skeeter there are a couple of ways to check your user options. The fastest way for me is to go to the forums, look to the top of the forums page and you will see user cp, click on user cp and then click on edit options, then look to be sure you have said yes toAutomatic log on and also yes to browse board with cookies.
If you need to make changes be sure tosubmit and save the changes at the bottom of the screen. Software can at times play havoc withhow you access a siteesp firewalls even when your options are all on in order. I have hadone heck of a ride getting mine right for this site.If that doesn't work try Keith or Chris suggestion or both. It doesn't hurt to have the latest update on Internet Explorer. They are always finding security holes in it.

Keith and Little Sparrow:
I have the latest Explorer package, ( I think).. and "Yes" is checked in the automatic login under the "edit options".. I may disable my Window XP firewall, and try that.. There is no pattern to the request for login. It happens two or three times in a row, or it may go for a day... |

My guess it is your firewall configuration. Just be careful you do need it. It's to dangerous to be without it. See if you can get help with the configuraton of your cookies, web browsing etc. The Internet Explorer Package is a pain also. I just looked to see what I had loaded in my add/remove programs in the control panel folder. There were two IE programs showing I uninstalled what looked to be an update but I have never seen an update that is added as a program. If I continue to have problems I will uninstall IE 6 and reinstall and see if that helps. For right now though I'm going to finish off the turkey my girls sent home with me. The best that has ever passed my lips.
