Something on the lighter side
About two weeks ago, here where I live, one of our local veterinarians and her family lost their home in a fire.
The fire...ironically...was caused by an animal. A squirrel had gotten into the attic and chewed through electrical wiring. No one was home at the time and the home and its entire contents were totally destroyed. Dr. Jenny Fortune and her husband Thomas have two boys, Alexander, 8, and Michael, 7. Of all their possessions lost in the fire, what the boys treasured most was their LEGOs. "They loved their LEGOs!" said Mom. "The boys would create individual projects, and sometimes would combine their LEGOs to create a joint project. They really miss their LEGOs." The clipping below tells the sequel to this story: |
