Default Rights

Went to Starbucks here close to the house for some coffee, was wearing my support our troops t-shirt, and ball cap. A young college kid (girl) asked me why I would wear as shirt like that. I told her "The first amendment", she looked kind of confused at me, and said "What do you mean the first amendment"? I told her the first amendment, the right to free speech, I'm exercising my right to free speech just like you are, do yo have any more questions? She headed toward the door, as she was leaving I told her to have a nice day.
One of the other patrons in line looked at me and smiled at me , and said "I loved it".

Sadly, she is just another example of the worthless government schooling that we are paying so dearly for. Studying the Constitution, or a really good version of colonial American history, is a forgotten subject. We are reaping the whirlwind that we started sowing a few short decades ago.

It wasn't the "Vietnam War" it was the Vietnam "Police Action." and we still haven't changed too much from that Police Action attitude .
"Get out of Iraq", "Cower from Afghanistan," because it was a Republican that started all that mess after the leaders of those two nations September 11th show of appreciation for their profit Mohammed. Jihad is only a matter of worship anyway.
While your at it America, borrow a few buck$ from China who publishes to its people how much America owes it. We owe China so much for our very existance, don't we?
The girl probably came into Starbucks wearing a "chicken print" on her shirt and had to leave quickly to get to the closest outhouse and fill her plastic bag.
You know Bob, the bag that she could throw at you or anyone else that might think that Robert Ryan had any rights other than the ones that she might approve of along with her Commander and Chief's blessings on her actions. You know the leader that certainly wouldn't consider wearing one of those tacky war-monger uniforms.

Default Stick I have to agree

Conflicts seem to be something the President can authorize before Congress can set up funds to cover it. Too much of these conflicts have been generated by merely a Presidential nod to go ahead.
