Post Funeral Yesterday

Robert D. Klepper 1930 - 2006
Born and raise in Western Wyoming.
Went into the Army in 1949 and served 18 months in Germany during during his "hitch".
When he and his wife moved to my home town we became friends. We spent many, many hours fishing, and hunting together. Pointed my wife out to me and told me I'd better date that little girl because she was "the best catch in the stream." And he was correct.
He worked home construction and remodeling, he also had an apple and cherry orchard. His big lab "Yogi" was the best retrieving dog ever.
The last ten - twelve years he suffered from diabetes and heart problems. I visited with him last fall and somehow I knew it would be my last visit. Bob will be missed. Lots and lots of memories.

Thank you Bob for your service to our country, you will be missed. Bob was the type that would have fitted into Psyco Mtn. He could harass better than just about anyone.

Post Bob K.

Bobs yep they are quite the bunch. He and his wife told me about their first week of marriage. Saturday was the first day of deer hunting back there in Wyoming. About 5:00 AM he woke and packed all his hunting gear and went hunting for the whole week-end. Didn't tell his bride where he was going, just assumed that she would know. After a some investigation the wife and his parents and her parents figured it all out that he went hunting. His hunting buddy just happened to be his wife's older brother. When Bob came in on Sunday Evening he said he got three lectures. One from his wife, one from his father -in- law, and one from his father. Bob said from then on he always told his wife when he was going hunting.
Quite the Bob. He'd fit right in with Sid and John.
