When I was a youngster (not so very long ago..shhhhhhh! ) and I had troubles with people who bothered me, my Mum told me to 'heap burning coals upon their heads'.
Not literally mind you! Although I was surely tempted at times.
What she meant was to bite my tongue and be as nice as I could to them. She said if nothing else, it would show to the world that I was the better person and it would also drive them nuts!
And you know what??? It works! hee hee!
I have had my share of problems in dealing with people. right here on the block that I live. People got involved in an issue.. a very personal one and took sides. They totally ignored me and my children. Now, me I can deal with but don't mess with my kids!
So I did what my Mum told me long ago...
Whenever I saw the 'gaggle of geese', as I called them, I would deliberately go outside and saaaaaaashay up to the ol'hens and be as nice as sugar! I wasn't mean and I didn't lie. I was just polite and cordial. Bugged the heck right out of them... hee hee. Finally, after a verrrrrrrrry long time.. they grew up and got over it. I still don't trust em to this day.. but I know I am the one who ended up the winner.
You are young and so strong. Do like Janie says.. be the better person! And yes.. they were jealous and I suspect that your co-workers are too!
No one had best mess with our Brad!

Brad, Sue is right on target. You should be as nice as possible to the jerks. It'll show them how someone with character responds to petty people.

On the other hand, someone with no character, like myself, is not at all tied down to that premise......Send me the email addresses
