Is It Really An Inconvenient Truth

Like it or not and even think about it or not - “We Americans” are a race of people who still tend to gather together (and to even to live within), comforting groups of like-minded, like-speaking, like-ancestral, like dressing and even like educated cabals and regions! But unlike the natives of many other portions of this planet, we are more a conglomeration of ethnicities, accents, colors and even shades, than just about any other portion of this globule of soil, water, and gas that we all call our home!

Granted, in all of the eons that we have occupied “This Tiny Little Planet of Ours”, we have rarely learned how to get along together, but at least we have managed to survive, if not always in harmony? But unfortunately, we have also managed to kick “The Living Hell’ out of each other all along the way, while giving rise to some really interesting traits and practices, like greed, warfare, systemic diseases and even mind-games! But once again, we have at least managed to survive (thus far), if not always in peace and harmony!

“But what will the future hold in store for our race?” Will we finally learn how to get along together, or will we eventually blow each other to smithereens, leaving nothing behind us to mark our passage, but a burned-out cinder where “The Earth” once stood? And of course, only “The Almighty Himself” will ever tell for sure what our final fate may be? But as of this point in time – “God and the Fates” just ain’t talking!? But then, not to worry – as many of the world’s politicians generally do all of our taking (and even our thinking), for us - until eventually, many within “This Race of Ours” find ourselves terminally confined within the suburbs of that realm that is forever looked after by ‘Either The Creator or even by Old Beelzebub Himself!!’
