Having my 5th beer and remembered you didn't
Here's a few of my favorite songs (I'm an American but born as an Italian by my Grand-Parents and of course I had to learn Italian and got to know the music. So here's a few
of the most current music songs I've heard over my 75 years/ By the way this is my fifth beer. PBR 6.5 alc (smooth) just left the VFW post 6448 Dyer, IN A great post - look me up (Boats) 1. Andrea Bocelli, Zucchero - Miserere Re: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4-m2UEydpE Alt: RE: https://freelistenonline.com/artist/Andrea+Bocelli (Alt #326) 2. Andrew Bocelli - Ti Amo (#292) my all time favorite (2013) (#292) Re: https://freelistenonline.com/artist/Andrea+Bocelli 3. Andrew Bocelli - Juarme - (#168) Good beat) Re: https://freelistenonline.com/artist/...Andrea+Bocelli So much for tunes - nobody most likely listens - Have a few beers you will love them! - Seems no one is interested in my music that's OK - I was just thinking of my Grand-Parents They fought like hell to get to America to give their kids a place where freedom and also to give them better opportunities not available in Italy at that time. - I was born an American but raised under Italian rules. All my family is gone except for my wife whose not doing so well. But listening to Italian music I grew up with calms me. I miss them all - and will until I die. I'm an American raised by Italian's who never had the freedoms to live their lives until they came to America. They worked hard and had to lean a new language and be able to fit into an American society and its wasn't easy. Dago's they called us yet I was born here and still I remember their struggles to fit into a new society and still carry their Italian up bringing which was difficult. Plus they lost most of their family members during the wars. But boy could my Nana cook. As I grew up I married another Italian woman and she and her Mother were my best friends. And both could cook as well. - My wife doesn't have much time and I'm degrading faster then the VA wants me too. But that's life. Kath hasn't much time and she's bitter as hell having to suffer something no one can fix. It's hard for her and 55 years of marriage is where we are at right now. I can only hope I can live long enough to take take care of her. She's the best thing that ever came into my life and she's meaner than hell - that her Italian coming out. But the best woman I was fortunate enough to say yes to me when I asked her and her family for permission to marry their daughter. Her Mom & Dad are gone and her younger sister and brother. Mind are all gone except for my older sister whose in a nursing home and doesn't know much anything her daughter died plus her husband and that pushed her over the edge. - I can only suspect my end - its coming but I don't fear it other than to know who will take care of my wife should I go before her? - Boats
