Default $2.56 per gallon here in OR

Its intersting to read this--seen this myself when I was in Europe last year and rented a car to drive through Normandy and South England--its was atrocious.
Another good statistic to ponder is average MPG per car in each country.
US consumers are getting screwed far worse than others because of their much lower MPG per car. In other places in the world theyve always had expensive gas and they drive cars that reflect it. In europe you don't see 6 or 8 cylinders in cars and no auto trans and none of the cars are over about 10' long. some of their cars look like pregnant rollerskates.
Who's really going to eat it bigtime is people with gas guzzlers. My aerostar gets about 22mpg on the road but the Ranger 4x4 only gets 15. (the old lady has a Dodge Caravan that gets about 22) So we aint bad off, bad off as some, but I been thinking on getting a smaller car, maybe a 2 seater convertible like a Miata or Fiat. My older bro just bought a Miata and loves it.
Peopkle with big pickups, Suburbans and Hummers are going to eat it bad. The gas guzzling culture we all grew up with is coming to a close. Best drive those big guzzlers around now, you won't be able to give them away 5 years from now. This is why GM and Ford are in such a bad way--they committed to making gas guzzlers and now no one's buying
The vehicle I put the most daily mileage on is my bicycle, trying to do 20 miles a day. Its a great place for a bicycle but watch out for the Dukes of Hazzards wannabes. The B&C got run into a ditch the other day.

Stay good all
James

PS: The cheapest place in the world right now to buy gas may be Iraq---not only do we pay for our gas but we pay a lot to provide them cheap gas. Thanks George!

Venezuela is floating on oil, they export a hell of a lot of it to the US. Chavez, their president, is a socialist. Their economy sucks. Low priced oil, it keeps the people quiet.

Hey Steve, the capital of Andorra is, Andorra.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Andy,

The capital of Andorra is Andorra?

That's too hard to remember.

Give me an easier one....like, "What's the capital of Luxembourg?"

Default Gosh

It's either Lizzie or Lux. I'd spell out Luxembourg but I'm not sure I can spell it.
Ok, what's the capitol of Chad? $144,000 is not the answer I'm looking for. And how much is 89 proof gas per liter.

Stay healthy,
Andy
