World Series
Detroit shut out Oakland in four, Cards over the Mets after seven.
Lemmee see if I can figger out who Tina is for!  That catch by Chavez in the final Cards/Mets game was one for the books! Caught somebody napping...turned it into a double play! So...whadda ya'll think? Tigers or Cards?

...La Sorda, LaRussa, err both great coaches, and with Beltran looking a t a called strike three with the bases loaded, Cards barely made it, but the catch in left by Chavez was the best I've seen in a long time,... ...Jimis no sloutch for the Tigers, and home field ?????????????? ...Detroit in 6,............................... ...Sorry Advisor, I figurered to win it, dey would have to bring back Gibson,..................... ... ,......

You are all forgetting that Jimmy Leyland is the best manager in baseball. Game one is getting out of hand, but will go with Detroit because of Leyland. Probably 6, could go 7. Have always liked the Cards and were scouted by them and Pirates when I was young, but....Leyland and the Tigers.
Pack PS Don't think a week off is any help....momentum is important and the Cards have that.

Going for the Tigers, never cared much for the Cards at all.
Of course the teams I prefer are total crap so I don't care to much.

Well, at least you're honest about it. BTW, Cards won tonight with a rookie pitcher for both teams.
