Live from Ho Town IT'S EXLRRP!!!!!
Well, guys, I said I'd post from Ho Town and here it is. We were in the air a toal of 16 hours
We're staying in the Grand Hotel and it is very. I never was in Saigon before but I like it!! it's great and no worse than Louisiana--cheaper, too. It's much nocer than Mexico City, cleaner, less threatening--women can walk the streets unmolested, theore's little violent crime. We're going out to Cu Chi tommorow, then going by private minibus to Buon Na Thuot, Plaiku, Kontum and QuiNhon--$50/day includes gas and driver. The food here is great we just had a top notch dinner for $12--thats for 2. Things are a LOT different here--no sleazy bars and whores, haven't seen any. WEe just walked through a downtown city park--this would have been full of junkies and homeless in SF but here at 8:30 at night, its like social hour--families, teenagers giggling and hanging out I'll be back later. Chao Ong, yall. James

The place has gone to the dogs! Surely there were at least some White Mice. No tea? No tic-tac-toe?

The US never went to the moon, it was all staged, and James and Tom didn't go to VN. There in Hawaii.

If
If you haven't heard the words, "No tea no talk, no money no honey." you aint in Saigon. Tell your driver to take you to the Cholan district and ask if anyone has heard of Mama-san Snow.
Let Frisco loose for a few hours. I'm sure he could find a hooker in the Vatican. Just south of Cu Chi is a town called Ap Chow. During Tet we leveled the place, wasn't a chicken left standing. If you get this in time, let me know if it's rebuilt much. Stay healthy, I mean that, Andy |
