I graduated today ....
....from the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP ) PTSD Treatment Program at the North Little Rock VA today. It was a 7 week program.
I learned a lot about myself, PTSD, the VA, Vietnam, made some great new friends, and look forward to using the methods, tools, and attitudes that we learned, and making the life style changes and working toward the goals that each of us agreed on for ourselves. If anyone would like to know more about this program, just send me an email or PM. I will have more to say about it later, but since I have spent about 3 months total in 2 different VA hospitals since October, I am going to rest for awhile.
By the way, the staff was excellent and the care and treatment program was top notch !!
Lastly, I pray that something positive will come out of the election in Iraq on Sunday.

P.S. : As I have said many times, if you think you have PTSD, you probably do. Get to a Vet Center near you for a no hassle, no paperwork, no VA red tape, talk with a counselor, many of whom are Vietnam veterans. I wished I had not waited until I was 53 years old....but I sure am glad I did make that first step !!
May God Bless you one and all !!!
