Bionic Old Guy
Due to many things , like getting way to close to exploding RPG's , machine gun fire and CVC helmets with old squelch blaring , I am deaf as a door nail. Yesterday I went to the VA and got new hearing aids. These babies have directional receivers , volume controls and three push button computer settings. Normal listening push my ear switch once , to noisy push it again , answer the phone push again while still in my ear. I feel like the bionic man pushing buttons in my ear. I am scared to think what will go next .......... I know a guy with a pump. Getting old ain't for wimps. Scouts Out !

TYPE LOUDER DAMMIT!
Great news John,s I've contemplated availing myself of similar services from the VA. Last I heard, they were still using 19th century technology, but it appears from your post that they've joined up with the 21st century. I'm waiting for the models that automatically scream into the phone when a telemarkerter calls...... ... and for Petes sake, be careful with them pump thingies... Knew a guy around here who used one, pumped it up, caused all the blood to drain from his brain, and he fainted, and now can't remember if he got any or not. Scouts Out!!

I kinda like not hearing all that I should.... Like when the honey-do's are being rattled off faster then a 50cal If I gotta pump my thingie up......Just take me out back and shoot me. Bob K
