Little ones: Living, breathing proof that He has faith in tomorrow.
Gotta luv em.
Son or Daughter: A lifelong obligation, sometimes VERY trying and tedious that a parent eagerly anticipates moving out of the home when that child reaches an age that he or she is able to get a drivers license. A son and/or daughter can be extremely rewarding to their parents during their growing up years as long as they clean up their messes, help their mom and dad in the yard and in the house, bring home good report cards from school, and are truely growing up to stand on their own and support themselves.
Grandchild: The greatest gift that your son or daughter can give you that they are obliged to get out of sh_tty diapers, feed, clothe and spend lots of money on. Grandma and grandpa can give messy candy to a grandchild and it's that childs Mom that is obligated to clean the kid up. Grandchildren might be left in the care of the grandparents but only after that child has learned to walk, talk, follow directions and no longer leave messes in thier undies. Once a grandchild reaches the teenage years they are no longer welcome to stay overnight at grandmas and grandpas house unless they listen to and follow instructions, don't listen to loud head-banger music, and are willing to work. While in the care of a grandparent, headphones are not an option to a teenage grandchild.
Thanks for the smile Grandpa Tom.
