For those that may have wandered in off the internet-information super hiway....here is what really happened last year with Andy and the butter...
It was a very cold night up in the mountains of North Georgia. It was nearly May, believe it or not. I was attempting to sleep in an NVA sleeping bag that John gave me, so I could sleep on the porch of his cabin. His porch had doors that wouldn't stay shut and plastic all around. The temp that night was 29 degrees with the wind chill much lower. I went and found my sleeping bag and put two quilts on top and if a body part ( i.e. hand ) came out of this nest, it just froze. John's cabin is maybe 75 yards from Sid's main cabin. When I got up and went to Sid's place he was up and so was Andy. Now Andy had played cards all night and had been involved in extended merrymaking. Sometime in the AM he decided to go to bed on a couch on the far side of Sid's cabin. It seems Andy likes to sleep in the nude no matter how cold it is. The only problem was that the couch was the designated sleeping area of one of the many dogs that were there. Andy kicked him off, but when Andy went to sleep in the nude ( per Andy.. that his what he does ), the dog regained his spot, at some place on his bare body ( per Andy ). When I got there, Andy was walking around with a sheet around him, as mad as a wet hen, because Packo and the Frisco Kid has once again left him there, while they ran off to their warm motel room, without any clothes. The recliner on the far end, away from the couch had 5 lbs. of butter in it. I may have accidentally sat in part of it. I have a picture of the couch after Andy got up, and it is quite a mess...It also snowed for about 10 mins. that Sunday morning.......Quite a story, I must say. Larry
