Default Ron..

Haven't had the pleasure,(????), but when I come back to Texas....fix me up some! I prefer Pinto beans over Frejolie.

On the way to San An-tone to see me niece graduate from AF Boot Camp, I stopped at Schoebels and had a GREAT Chicken-fried-steak. I do agree with Doc Fred....chicken ain't steak....but when in Texas. Schoebles have 2 sons and a nephew in the NFL. One of the boys is now a tight-end with the Eagles. A cop that pulled me over for speeding, (Texas State Patrol), gave us directions to get there. We were gonna eat somewhere else. He also didn't give me a ticket because the shirt I was wearing had a CIB and my Jump Wings on it. He was former Army. HOOORAH! Also, thank God, he called in the plate and found it to be a rental. If not...I sure I would have been ticketed. The Lincoln I rented had a damn MASS plate. How embarrassing.

The South is the only place on earth that would take a steak and deep fry it! "and that's what I like about the South!"

Pack,

If you had rented a Toyota or a Honda it would've had Texas plates, but a Lincoln deserved only the best, henceforth the MA plates.

your lucky, DPS officers don't really care about any excuse. I was pulled over by one, one time for a tail light out, we had just left the deer camp, a dead deer in the back, loaded guns in the front seat, Holy shit. He asked wear we were coming from I told him the truth, he said you got any guns in the vehicle again, The truth, he looked in the back and said nice deer and get that tail light fixed and walked back to his car.
John Maden used to have a TurDuckin every superbowl game. Google it.
And, I would be happy to meet you for lunch in your travels threw Teaxs. Name the place and Time.

SS
The dillo don't have to be stuffed in a whole gator, besides that the tail is the only meat worth a sheeet. You just have to have a chunk about 10inch by 12 inch. I've seen Gator that you could get that from about half way down the tail.
I was fishing once and a 12 foot gator came right up to the bank in front of me about 10 foot away. I went to my car and got my 444 and went back to fishing, Make your move gator.

Default Actually Ron,

I didn't have or give him an excuse. I had the cruise set at 79 in a 70 zone. I have never been picked up on an Interstate for going under 10mph over. He did ask if i knew how fast I was going and I told him I have the cruise set at around 78/79. He said that his radar said 80. I said, that's real possible. From then on he asked about my CIB/WINGS, we talked, he said "take it easy" and I said "thank you sir". I reset the cruise to around 77 when I got back up to speed. He was polite and a real nice young man. Also turned us on to a really good road food place. I will let you know next time we're headed for Texas! It would be my pleasure.

Sorry but I just can't ignore this: Alabama has mayonaise barbeque sauce? I had to look it up. Here it is. gag gag Is Alabama part of England? Their food sounds like it. I repeat GAG GAG

Alabama White Barbecue Sauce

BBQ Sauce Recipe

Smoker Recipes
This traditional Alabama Barbecue Sauce uses Mayonnaise as its base rather than tomato sauce, vinegar, or any of the other traditional barbecue sauce bases. Like many barbecue sauces you want to apply this only at the very end of your grilling or smoking. It will breakdown and separate if it is heated too long. Use this sauce on chicken and turkey. It is also good on pork. Alabama White Barbecue Sauce has a tangy flavor that is a great addition to grilled foods.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonaise
1 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Preparation:
Mix ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before using. Brush lightly over chicken, turkey or pork during the last few minutes of grilling. This barbecue sauce is also great as a dipping sauce so set some aside before you start grilling to serve on the table.

Default Doc Fred

No self-respecting male would ever eat anything that had 'mayonaise' and 'barbecue' in the same sentence or county. Sounds like something they might eat in New Hengland. A real girlie-man recipe, no doubt!!

Oh, I would say it is as good on beef as it is on fowl or pork.
