You must've been to a picnic involving Willie Nelson or such, here in Drippin', as we locals call it. Now about that Lone Star beer: we brew it for the uninitiated, similar to what the Aussies do with Foster's. I've been told by reputable authority (no one on this site) that Foster's is brewed strictly for the export trade. Same can be said for that Mexican beer always served with a lime. A lime fer Pete's sake?
Not in to the Pegasus thingie or Guinness. But me and Bill W. have been friends for a long time. Now, the Mensa Society, that's another whole outfit............

The weak Import Fosters they sell here is actually made in Canada.....The Fosters "Down Under" will peel your toe nails off in your socks - call them "Oilers" there - huge cans. The Pegasus Club - started by Jim Beam Distillary in 65 for the Troops in the USA in Nam. All we drank most of the time at MACV. Was the House Drink at the Playboy Club in Nha Thrang (SF EM Club).

The army in there infinate wisdom would not allow the troops alcohol in the desert in 91. Once Kuwait was liberated, the Aussies had conexs full of Fosters in the ports. Nothing like a "hot" Fosters to soothe an American's thirst!
