Jeff, it was 52 here yesterday with 48 predicted for today. You may think it odd and it is a little, but we always get a January thaw. This is a little warmer than normal though. The third week in Jan is usually the coldest week of the year. I can recall -90 windchills. I'm rooting for El Nino and global warming. It makes for milder winters here.

So tell me, why did Minnesota let the NorthStars go? Here you all are in snow/ice country and you don't have a state team. What's wrong with this picture??

Whaddya mean no team. We got the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul. The La Kings just beat them on Mon. night 4-3. I think they are in second place in their division and they have the worlds best building to play in. Not a bad seat in the house.
