I'll be lifting your dad in prayer every step of the way and thanks for asking. My wife will be a seven year lung cancer survivor on St. Patricks Day but it was prayer and a blessed Doctor that got her here today. Let us know if there's anything else we can do.

Thanks to everyone..
You know as scared as I am of this my dad isn't at all scared. He says if he has it we will deal with it one day at a time.If he don't then we know our friends and family and prayers worked one more time.. He is doing what his doctor at the VA told him to do and just waiting and living like he always has. But damn how am I not suppose to be scared.How am I not suppose to be worried.I know the power of prayer and I pray its on my side right now.. love Tina

Prayers out Tina, don't understand the "might" have and two month wait to find out. Just remember theysent Andy home to die with a fever of unknown origin seven years ago, if not for Annette saying F' you to the VA Andy would not have had these last seven years.Pain and fear areas God given asour ability to pray. Without pain we wouldn't know something was going wrongin our body and fearmotivates usto do something about it.If Griz called me tomorrow and told me some VA doc told him he "might" have lung cancer and to wait two months to find out there would be war in the camp untilwe got a second opinion.Been there and done that. There's nothing wrong with you using some of that fear you feel to motivate yourDad toget a second opinion. As retired military both your Dad and Mom are eligible forTricare. Prayers out fora lot of wisdom and some solid answers.Sis
