Helping others
Jerker, have you heard about the N.O. people we took in? Several hundred victims of Katrina were flown up the Otis Air Base in our state. Bunch of our resident are a little upset about the displaced Southern folks. You know those charge cards they were all given, seems a lot of them are being used at our strip bars and liquor stores. Generally speaking this state isn?t very up tight about morals, hell we have gay marriage. But most of us were under the impression those free debit cards they were all issued were supposed to be used for diapers and beans. I don?t mind my tax dollars going to help an improvised family, but if the money is going for lap dances and I?m not getting any lap dances, there?s something wrong with this picture.

They have arrested two women in Atlanta that claimed to be from NO and be displaced people . They got the debit cards and other goodies until it was discovered they always have lived in Atlanta

Im going to Florida
I can find a roof to get on and be saved by th NG and go to a shelter and get a check from The Red Cross and another check from FEMA and wait for a new house built for me by Jimmy carter and friends. While there I can loot some places and get a TV or two for my new house.

There are currently high pressure areas over central Mexico, Virginia, and Alabama-Georgia-Northern Florida. If these highs hold in place they will block the hurricane's movement to the West, Northwest, and North. That's the reason for the expected sharp right turn to south Florida.
More of a threat right now to Gimpy and Tina, but you can bet this 'cane has MY undivided attention! Thanx again to all for the pillow offers...we'll see what develops. Geez, what a hurricane season! :re:

We had a couple here in Ellensburg doing the same thing. Trying to get all kinds of benefits by claiming to be displaced from NO. I think I'll come to Atlanta and claim to be from NO.
