Interesting Christmas Celebrations

Jerry - you've enlightened my day once again. The captions make Christmas that much brighter. The year has been difficult for so many that we all hope the upcoming Christmas Holiday brings with it hope for a better next year.

I'm not a fan of Christmas like I used to be and that is because so many of the main family traditions have departed with the loss of our older generations. My wife and I carry a few with us from our families but our kids are not into it any longer and now that they've moved on they will start their own traditions as they understand what's important t them.

Other issues often overlooked are the elderly. Many of them die around the holidays and I often wonder if it depresses them because they are not with their family members and are so alone - and to continue on only brings despair?

I like the Winter - Spring and Fall - but I'm not a Summer fan.

your Welcome Stick and Boats, I know what you mean Stick, I get perturbed when they advertise Sausage Biscuits or those Chile/cheese Krystal Burgers at O'dark thirty in the morning and no store or place to eat is open to go out and buy them to eat BTW , I printed off the recipe for the Virginia Oyster-Ham pie so my wife could make me some to go with the Turkey next holiday she cooks a Turkey probably Thanksgiving
