Post HMO's

I have had both positive and extremely negative opens about HMO's.

I was on a hospital board for 6 yrs. My father in law was in an HMO.

If HMO's are run properly they can be an effective method of lowering Health Care Costs. However in most HMO's the greed factor takes over by the administration and HMO's then can be a deadly place to receive your medical care. I've had some good experiences and negative experiences through the Hospital with HMO's. Often times they are very stingy in their payments to the Hospital and difficult to work with.

My Father in Law was in an HMO and they wouldn't care for his needs adequately and in fact since they ignored him my wife pulled him out of the HMO and through Social Security and Medicare we got him the medical care he needed. He would have died six or seven years early if left in the care of the HMO.

They need to be much more strickly regulated so the consumer gets what he is paying for.

Default Foreign Affairs

I would like to be considerted for the position of Secretary of Foreign Affairs. My credentials are:-

I am foreign and I would like to have an affair.

I like Bill Clinton's definition of sexual relations.

I am willing to negotiate on foreign affairs issues.

I have been foreign all my life.

The exchange rate between Oz is favourable so I come cheap.

I'm 16 hrs ahead of the rest of the party and always at work first
