Default A Welcome Change

from the last two idiots you guys picked.

Keith, thanks for many wonderful years of your computer aquaintance. You helped me through my fathers passing more than you will ever know.

Now, Andy was partially right, it's the last 2 VOM's, and make mine Beefeaters Gin. Thanks! (I have olives, but thanks for asking anyway)

Thumbs up Congratulations Keith.

Here, we call the wind the Washoe Zephyr and it comes through every afternoon around three or so. I?d miss it if the chimes weren?t playing their music, etc.

Fair seas to you, Bill

P.S. Sorry you don?t like my Cat in the Hat, hat. So I guess I?ll go off and pout for a while now.

Default Our wind comes from

Hey Seascamp,

Seattle and the Puget sound. City folks and their hot air. Snoqualmie Pass is the lowest point in the Cascades of Washington. The east winds from the Pacific just pour through that pass. The last couple of weeks we've had 25 - 40 mph winds constantly, no relief night or day. Run down to Yakima for a few hours just to get away from the winds. They only have 10 - 20 mph winds there. The news says we are having 24 mph constant wind this morning. (Go to the Weatherchannel.com and type in 98926) check out our winds.

I think your cat in the hat - hat would be a riot. I wouldn't even be ashamed of you if I was down there in with you. I'll wear a Pooh Bear T-shirt and that would be scary.

My best cynical post that I got no responses was my recommendation that we give East Nevada to the Palestines and make a Palestinian Homeland for them. I figured you'd say something.

Keith

Keith,
For the greater part the Washoe Zephyr is due to the thermals rising along the eastern slopes of the Sierras. Fact is, we have the world championship sail plane competition every year as the thermals got up to some 30K ft. and beyond. As all things are connected, if there is a low-pressure area in the Pacific Northwest, we get winds out of the south and that is usually quite a blow and a good old storm of some sorts. Right now is thunder and lightening season and we get very dramatic displays and the smell of ozone. It is said that we have four seasons; June, July, August and winter. Variously, it is said ?if ya don?t like the weather, hang out for a few minutes, It?ll change?. All true enough and never boring.

When so disposed, I wear my ?Oh no, Mr. Bill? T-shirt. So with that, my hat and your Poo Bear shirt we could reasonably expect to hear sirens heading our way. Maybe we could have Sis dress as a mental health worker, give us a cover story and watch our six. LOL. As to eastern Nevada going to the Palistinians, well, that's pure Cowboy country and I guess I didn't see your post. I'll go look it up and give it my proper attention. Aarrgg!

Scamp

I type with one finger so this has been a long one for me Mr. 60 wpm.
