Tiny is a great guy
I met him once with his wife on a trip thru atlanta.
MY FAVORITE STORY, LT and Tiny were in a big fight (not with each other) when LT looked over and there was blood all over tinys arm and a piece of bone sticking out. LT screamed at Tiny your hit. Tiny picked loose the bone and threw it away remarked "NOT MY BONE".

We called Tiny , Tiny , because he was hugh. About 6 ft 7in and weighed about 230 . He was on his 3rd tour when we both got to C Troop 3/5th Cav . He was wounded bad one day and off he went on a chopper. I didn't see him till 33 years later when he called me from a room in Atlanta. Asked me to come and see him and told me he had lost both legs. I got PHO to go with me but it was still a shock to see Tiny at about 3 feet tall. Tiny told me I did good as a plt. leader and he would follow me to hell and back again . What a weight off me ! We talk every day now. Peace brothers. Damn sandstorms

Heading out Monday Morning for Gatlinburg Tenn for 5 days. Got a cabin reserved in the mountains. Tuesday the wife and I are heading over to Doc Fred's house where I will put the squeeze on him to make sure he arrives on Psyco Mtn in April.....Trav if we have to, we might make a slight detour in April and kidnap the good Doc. I'll let you know when I get back.
