Well Scout,
it's seldom you and I find much to agree about.
But, in this case I find myself in total agreement with your previous post. As for your eloquent observation regarding "the resonable man" concept practiced in law--------------The VA has no such concept 'in practice' NOW, in the PAST and from all indications it never will in the FUTURE.

Glad you're finally seeing the light! The basic problem with our government is that too many rules and regulations were written by some deeply entrenched bureaucrat who doesn't have to live by the same rules and regulations that potentially adversely impact you and me. And common sense, or the concept of 'the reasonable man' ever enter into the equation.
The more I see how our current government system "works" at all levels, the more I'm convinced that a serious revolution is needed to correct the more egregious blunders that have been inflicted upon us for too long. A fair and equitable tax system, a totally revamped immigration system, and a common sense approach to energy independence are some of my non-negotiables for starters.

Add to that no spending without taxing and getting rid of lobbyists and I'm your man.
