Default A Sane Post For A Change:

Have ANY of you ever been in the "Near Death" situition that makes you change your whole life around??

These situations have to be Non Military.

One of my contractors, that I sub from him told me about his just recently;

He was on vacation with his wife in Mexico, and they decided to do some snorkling and scuba diving.

During the snorkling Les got away from the group of his fellow snorkling, and got washed up into a cave by the undercurrent or whatever you call it.

He was pulled to safety ( thank god).

Main point is:

He told me that the first thing that went through his mind was " I dont have enough Life Insurance for my kids"

This guy is a rich and very respectable contractor in Lewisville, Tx.

So when they got back, he went to his insurance agent and UPED his insurance ( Life) to cover the losses.

Second point:

Just WHAT would you do in order to do the right thing that we are all raised up to do??

enough.............

Hi Reeb,
In March of this year I did die. And was brought back. That doesn't qualify as an NDE, because it was an actual death. But I can assure you that at the time there were no thoughts of insurance. Just a trip to a wonderful place that I was angry about having to return from. And a realization that I have things to get done.
The right thing I would have to do....follow my heart. I was raised to do that, and somehow it got lost somewhere.
Read your PM's buddy.

Bollux! I sent a message. The cyber monkeys probably ate it.
Glad I'm here now, and the spirit is strong. Yeah, those paddles do make the boobs hurt. Your cousin was younger though. I was 46 then.
