Regrets::::::::::::::::
Has anyone on here ever met or know a "person" that either didnt enlist, or go to Canada. or just try like hell to not to go into the Military during the 60,s ,when the Viet Conflict was going on.
What are their feelings today compared to 35 plus years ago.?? Brass Tacks: I quit high school for two reasons: 1. wouldnt listen and learn 2. to join and do my duty ( even though) I might not come home., but I joined the Navy vice the Grunts or "puppies" Army. Had it MADE, except for the TET Offensive of 1968. Anyhoo ( like we say in BFE), if you have just what are their feelings today??? Still chicken out, or kick theirselves in the hinney. insanity, or whatever?? This is just something that came to mind today after learning about a house I painting, His son was a draft dodger and the father is a Vet From WW11. Like he said ( I started late in life to make babies and teach them right from wrong. Has anyone met anyone that REALLY ADMITS THAT THEY FUC-- UP????????????? enough.................. :cd: |
