Farmers that is the reason it started in order to give farmers more daylight to plant and harvest their crops just look at the times of the year it starts and stops. Right before the planting season and just after harvest.

I hear they're gonna change the dates of Daylight Savings Time in 2007. Anyone know what that's all about?

Indiana goes into Central Savings Time in 2006 that's all I heard about it. Spring ahead and Fall behind is the only way to remember what to do when it occurs.

Yes, doc...supposedly in 07' we "spring forward" 1st week of March and "fall back" 1st sunday in november. Wish it was 1st on December....but its november.

I just bought a new clock radio that automatically knows day, date, time, when you plug it in, and it automatically switched on sunday morning at 0200. There was a note saying that I'll have to do it on my own in 2007 because it is not set up for that.

Boats
They're still arguing over what time zone we're gonna be in
Up until April 2006 Indiana never did the time change. Half a year we were on central time. and the other half on eastern time
I liked it but it sure screwed up airline and tv schedules

Post Having been raised on a Dairy Farm

Daylight Saving Time is pure foolishness.

The Cows always knew what time it was for milking.

My only concern is that it is very dark in mornings around when the kids are walking to school. I don't want to see any changes for that reason. I walk about 5 - 7 miles every morning and for the past three weeks I start my walk in the dark and end in the dark. I'm against the change for that reason.

Eventually as the month rolls on its dark when I go to work and dark when I leave to go home. This is when I really get depressed. Only on the weekends do I get into the sunshine for any length of time.
