Griz The Graduate

I`ve been in group therapy for the past seven years.Every Tuesday morning-same place,same time,even sat in the same damn chair! AUG 2 2005 will begin a new chapter in my life of recovery from the crippling symptoms of PTSD.A graduation ceremony will be held in my honor to usher me out the door and on to bigger and better things.The whole 'graduation' thing is part of the model for group therapy devised by my therapist,mentor,brother,and friend,Bill Mairer,MSW(1st Marines 67/68) of Port Angeles,Wa.Bill is one of my heroes.

Not coincidentally,it was about the same time that I started group that I met many of you,and have sharedmany conversations about you in group,and visa versa.I want you to know what a huge role you all have played in my ability to move on and 'keep movin'.I wish that y`all (except Col Murph,who thinks I`m a coward)could be there on the big day.Thank you for all the support.From my heart.
