Default Medicaid, assets, property etc.

I just wondered if any of you have experience with Medicaid and selling a person's real estate to satisfy nursing home cost. There is a five year look back rule now on transfer of assets. Anything done within that period is money that will not be paid for nursing home care.

Thanks.

Larry

Laws are different for each stae. Your best bet is to contact a legal service to point you in the right direction.
