It still all boils down to who is the best man (or woman) for the job and for “Our Nation” as well – “and that too is a fact!” Unless of course, we are still all dyed in the wool political-party aficionados who, when told to jump, can only respond – “HOW HIGH?” I am of the opinion, however, that there are good and effective people within both major political factions and that a man (or a woman) can and must, be judged by their honesty, their abilities and their candor - and not by their often untruthful linguistics alone! I am further of the opinion that, “Like Old Abraham Lincoln”, education alone, can not be the only precursor of a person’s abilities, talents or even their honor! A man (or a woman) after all, has to be judged upon their own character, their word of honor and their abilities as well!

But the problem is - that these axioms of mankind are far too often overlooked (or even ignored) when it comes to choosing some of those politicians who are tasked with the effective functioning of “Our Country”, in my opinion! And once upon a time, we selected our leaders upon the basis of their character, their love of this nation and her people and their genuine ability to lead and to advance our own national agenda – so what has happened over the last two-hundred and forty-seven years to alter this fact and to also “Bend the Will of Our Nation and Her People?” Are we not even still of the same race (humanity) anymore? And are we not still endowed with the very same drives, talents and abilities as were “Our Founding Fathers?” But a new problem seems to now exist, in that the tube now controls and dictates our every move and thought! In short – ‘We the People’ can not even seem to think, reason or even to decide for ourselves anymore?!
