"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of today's attacks in Norway. The United States stands in solidarity with the Norwegian people, and we offer our deepest condolences.* These attacks are a sobering reminder that extremist threats continue to persist in our world, and we all must work together to defeat them wherever they arise.* The United States will provide our full support to our Norwegian counterparts to help assist in the investigation of today's attacks and to prevent further harm."
