ABC news and 101st guys

This morning (9-3-06) ABC news said the 4 101st guys had been charged with murdering Iraqi civilians. And they showed all 4 guys. The story was that the 101 guys were told by there commanders that the area which they were going in had no friendly civilians in it (an area on the Syrian border) The 101 guys said the civilians were killed only after they had escaped and attacked the 101 guys, The news guy said that prosecutors clame that the 101 guys killed the civilians and made up a story and inflicted wounds on themselves to cover up the murders? The news guys said the soldiers could get the death penalty.
Now before ABC news executes our soldiers maybe a trial and a presumption of innocence would be in order.
