Poppies are back out
The old guys this morning were operating off a heavy inter-section Route 30 and I-396 to Danville - and some of these guys could barely make it around the heavy traffic.
I blew my horn and held up the traffic to get my poppy and wished him well. His buddy kept yelling at him to watch out for the cars. There must have been six of them on this interstate cross-road - God Bless Them. All their jugs were full with bills they were making a good collection at this corner. I must have about 30 on my dash and rear view mirror but I always buy them. Veterans where would we be without them. I salute them all.

I keep them all on my computer at the office. I even have one from Canada, and that real nice blue flower they give out for the Korea Vets. |
