Looks Can Be Deceiving!

After viewing a few moments of Discovery Times on television, I came to the realization (again) that attempting to push American values, American democracy, American ideals, and American ideology, down the throats of the Middle East, and other world enclaves, is never going to work!

For thousands of years, nations have attempted to instill their way of life upon other. They have pushed their agendas through propaganda, force of arms, terrorism, and yes, by even attempting to bribe or buy off other nations!

This scenario, of course, did not always work, as was evident in the old U.S.S.R., South Africa, Vietnam, Somalia, Cuba, or even here in the Americas at times! For when any government attempts to flood another nation with money and other forms of foreign aid, thinking that this alone will buy friends and allies, all that they get in return is a pain in the backside, a population that suffers financial hardship because all of their funds are being shipped abroad to chiselers and international conmen, and the reputation for being an easy touch and an on-demand sucker!

Now I fully realize that this analogy is not an easy pill to digest, but our current American mindsets of - ?Buy Them Off, Indigent Diplomacy, and Flood Their Shores With American, Arms, Money and Manpower?, is not working like it should, at least not to this juncture of time! ?And when something doesn?t work, you either fix it or get sent to the junkyard with it!?

Also, what has worked for the United States for the last 229 years, will not (necessarily) work for every other Tom, Dick, Ivan, Poncho, Kim and Abdullah, on the face of the planet! We were a one in a thousand shot to succeed, but we still managed to pull it off and beat the odds!

And also for the record, we should always remember that the grinning face of a hyena (and some of the allies that we currently embrace) can often be deceiving and dangerous to the unprepared, the unsuspecting, the eternally trusting, and the open pocketed!?

Getting back to the ?Muddled East? for a moment - ?What in the Hell makes anyone think, (especially that army of Pseudo Experts, coupled with the Always Moronic United Nations), that the same game plan will work for every entity on Earth?

Most of the world will take all of the handouts ($$$$) that you give them, demand more, and then repay your kindness with deceit and double cross! For unlike the old western movies - "American lives lost, American money exhausted, American prestige pissed away, and American patience eroded, will not just (magically) reappear for a sequel!"

?The dead, after all, are dead forever, and only fools and those who crassly capitalize upon the sacrifices, blood, sweat and tears of others, look the other way when obvious danger is present!? And as far as our international friends are concerned, some may indeed be genuine (I think?), but many others are as multi-faced as a hydra in heat!
