The Cactus Cuties - A Little Older!

A few years ago, I posted a video clip of four young ladies, ages 8 to 13 - doing a VERY moving rendition of our National Anthem at a local basketball game in Lubbock, Texas.

Well, the Cactus Cuties are a little older now...ages 10 to 15...but they're still singing (albeit at somewhat more prestigious events!)...and doing it right!

Here's a video of Baylee Barrett, Blaire Elbert, Andi Kitten, and Madeline Powell singing at Cowboys Stadium in August of last year.







And here are the girls just being girls and having fun at the stadium!

True, it was cute and well done; however, an individuals "rendition" of the National Anthem is just as inappropriate as wearing the flag as an article of clothing. Doesn't anyone know the proper tempo? I applaud the young ladies effort but their music teacher should be flogged as well as so many singers who do likewise.
