The following was posted on Facebook by a friend of mine back in home who is an Army Wife and mother of an infant. Her husband is currently deployed.

yeah like I said, it's a tear jerker. They play it on the radio sometimes and it reduces me to a blubbering idiot. I guess it's my way of letting Jim know, we're sad he's not here and we're thinking of all of our military during Christmas.... we're certainly not the only one's missing a loved one this year.

I won't be there for Christmas. She is putting Christmas on hold until I get there, though. Only a couple more days. Damn, got something in my eye.

Right, something in your eye. Couldn't be your heart floated right up into your retina and caused your tear ducts to become overactive. Better see a doctor about that.

Another tear-jerker: not all of us are as lucky as Jim and I to have amazing wives waiting for us to come home. Keep up the good work.
