If you notice the hullabaloo has died down quite a bit since the insurance companies have had their interests protected. They are going to clean up with all these new policies that are going to be coming their way so they have quieted down their minions. The health care bill is now a good idea or at least not a bad idea to them. The fact they had the money to pay for ads on tv at least every thirty minutes on all the networks and most of the cable channels and did this for months on end shows how much excess money they have made off the present health care system. So just think how much more buying power they will take away from the consumers with the new plan. The good news is a lot of people have been galvanized by the process and the campaign by the health care industy to change the bill into something they can make even more money off of is going to have some unintended consequences they may not like. Once again a third party, the Tea Baggers, is arising. But being urged on by that fruitcake Glen Beck will contribute to its demise. It is just a matter of time before he goes off into la la land and with that a lot of followers will be lost. The end result will be the voters of the Right will be split in the next few elections until it dies down and the Dems will keep their power. It can be said the level of rage is this country is very high but that doesn't matter in elections. All that matters is how many people are mad and that number is not as high as needed at this time, especially if the Right splits its vote. As long as third parties arise from the extremes of the left or right they will fail. There are just not enough nut cases to keep them going. The only way we will ever have a successful third party is if it arises from the middle or as I like to call them the people with common sense. These are the people who see through the bull shit and have been resigned for many years to either voting for the lesser evil or getting sick and tired of the excesses of one party and vote for the other just to upset the status quo. They will not be won over by media blitzes and demagoguery because they are against them on principle.
