I Still Don't Believe That We OWE The Vietnamese ANYTHING:
I know some of my Vietnam Veteran Brothers and Sisters will not agree with me on this issue but I really believe that WE DON'T OWE THE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE ANYTHING! Let their COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT provide Artificial Limbs to them. They won the war so let them live with the aftermath of it.
I have no desire, nor would I ever consider a trip back to Vietnam. For me personally--The war is still being raged inside me and will never be truely over until I join my Best Buddy, HM3 Alan R. Gerrish, in death. The Communist Government now in power was responsible for his death--Along with the deaths of 58,000+ more of our Brothers and Sisters. I CAN NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE!
