MEDIA ADVISORY: 91st Civil Affairs Battalion (A) to present three Soldiers with medals for valor

FORT BRAGG, N.C.(USASOC News Service, Dec. 2, 2010) – The media is invited to attend an award ceremony hosted by Lt. Col. Daniel Barzyk, commander of the 91st Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne).He will present awards to Soldiers of the battalion's Alpha Company, which returned to Fort Bragg in September after an eight-month deployment to Afghanistan. Among the 40 Soldiers to be recognized at the 1 p.m. ceremony, Friday, Dec. 3, at the Special Warfare Command and School's John F. Kennedy Auditorium, are three who will be honored for heroism on the battlefield:
